About Us
Hi! Thanks for stopping by! I'm Dawn, a stay-at-home Mama to
two beautiful boys, ages 9 and 6.
Three years ago, my 6 year-old was diagnosed with Autism. At
that time, we were new to the community, having just moved to
Washington Court House due to my husband's job transfer.
We began searching for assistance for my little boy and our family,
realizing that treatments and therapy can be expensive. (as some of
you may know! :)
The prospect of finding care can be daunting, especially in these
times when healthcare is more and more expensive, and many
insurance companies won't even cover certain disabilites. (oh,
yeah, been down that road!) But let me tell you, there's help out
there- maybe even closer than you think! There are some great
programs and services, right here in Fayette County, Ohio.
We hear so many times of families falling through the cracks,
unable to find services and the help that they need. I developed this
site with the hope that we can bridge this gap, and provide
information and solutions for these families.
I'm not an expert or doctor, and I'm not a representative of any
particular agency, I'm just a parent like many others, who wants
the best for my family, and would like to help other families in our
community.
